My Congressman is Peter DeFazio, once was President of the Democrat Socialist of America. I have written DeFazio and have heard back.
Last time was before the Republican ballpark shooting, told him I was scared of the left and their violence. He wrote back and ridiculed me for voting for Trump. At this point, I am "afraid" to put my name in his corrupt path, as the "government" now has succeeded to frighten me to not speak out.
My husband and I will soon be felons, we possess firearms and Oregon is making them all illegal. Even high capacity handguns will be illegal. So do we keep our now illegal guns, that we have had for over 30 years, or do we turn them in to not be set up for a no knock raid, and take us both to prison? Do I set myself up by putting a spotlight on my family by complaining to my Congressman about his party's corruption?
You obviously decided your current job, house, situation, is more important to you than your rights. Otherwise you'd move the Hell out of Oregon.
Whenever you think about how horrible it is just remind yourself of what all you've gotten from the trade off you've made.
