Women continue to be more likely to identify as LGBT

For whatever reason, there are a lot of women who are bisexual, or who have at least tried it. I've known several girls who, while primarily in heterosexual relationships or married, have occasionally had sex with other women.

It's likely that the survey will count anyone who has ever done same-sex as at least "bi".

LGBTQ are now considered "protected class" in some circumstances and confirmation is not easily achievable.

The numbers are most likely inflated by individuals looking for protected class benefits.

I'd bet that a great number of those surveyed responded in a politically correct manner, especially liberals who wanted to help out their "biggest" constituency".

I'd also bet that if a similar question was posed on whether one identifies as black or Hispanic, that we'd get a number higher than what statistics say now.

Exactly my thought. As 2 examples, Food Network and HGTV can't have any show any more that's not skewed this way.
For example, they pretend Sunny Anderson should be on the same footing as an actual restaurateur/chef like Geoffrey Zakarian.
