Of course you’re nature-smart! You go out to the lake and walk in nature every day! Does Gizmo like to hunt for critters like dear Bo did? Is he slowing down on the barking part? Maybe he’s just not used to getting up BEFORE the chickens. LOL!
He doesn’t do as much hunting at Bo. He’s still young. We’ll see how things go.
Dang, stuck a space in there. Supposed to be coydogs, not coy dogs .... half coyote and half domestic dog. More dangerous than coyotes because they don’t have as much fear of people. We have a bunch of them around here and some live and wander in our woods.

I didn’t know it was that big a problem.
It wasn’t a few years ago but it’s become one. We don’t let our cats go outside any more because we’ve lost a few to the vile creatures.
I used to walk around the farm a lot at night but not any more.
Is there some law against shooting or trapping them?

Nope, no law against shooting them now but there was a few years ago. Now that we’re overrun with them, it’s pretty much go-and-get-’em. And people do, especially farmers who lose livestock to them.
Maybe some people should get together and put a bounty on them.
It’s happened in years past and will happen again, most likely. Especially if the coydog numbers keep growing because they’re more dangerous to livestock, pets, and people due to their lack of fear.
