European official admonishes: 'Trump won't stay forever'

As US President Donald Trump’s administration becomes increasingly close to Israel, Israeli newspapers fear the gap in Israel’s relations with leading European countries is widening.

Mako News reports England, France, Germany, and of course the European Union bombarding Israel with condemnations and demands for investigation.

Jerusalem, on the other hand, refuses to be moved. There are those who say the Europeans are releasing their frustration at Trump upon us, but a European official who recently visited Israel and tried to penetrate the wall of Israeli indifference to European demands said the following: “Trump won’t be President forever. Just as no-one imagined the Obama legacy would be erased so quickly, it can happen to the other side as well.”

The official added “You shouldn’t underestimate Europe. Look at the numbers: We’re still your big trading partners. You don’t understand that we’re under great pressure from public opinion against Israel.” …

“You shouldn’t underestimate Europe ... we’re under great pressure from public opinion against Israel.”

......................................................

Yes, we in the US and Israel all remember the rise of European “public opinion” against the Jews. So no, we won’t underestimate where that might lead, particularly now that your hatred against the Jews is getting amplified by all the radical Islamists that you’re letting into your countries.

Some believe the Antichrist (oops there’s that term again!) will arise from Europe.

Well, they already have their Tower of Babel in Strasbourg, France.

And they will only become more so as they become majority Muslim over the next 30 years.

Sounds rather like a threat. Is Europe saying they hate Jews? It wouldn’t be exactly uncharacteristic of them.

Well, how does Europe favor US involvement in WW2? Is Europe grateful, ambivalent, or regetful?

Trump should consider moving all EU bases to Poland.

In France, the people loved to see U.S. troops marching in; but later de Gaulle pretty much gave himself all the credit for defeating the Nazis. I don’t think they like admitting that they needed our help.

You don’t understand that we’re under great pressure from public opinion against Israel.

Relax. It isn't that we don't understand. It's that we don't give a rat's azz.

By granting a beach permit?

Ironically, without France, unlikely the United States (as we know it) would exist.

Notwithstanding Poland, a robust alliance with France is my preference.

Turning in. G’night.

And we repaid the favor to France TWICE.

The EU is not an ally, they are becoming rivals - and will become our enemies should they attempt further measures toward globalism. NATO will outlive it’s usefullness if it hasn’t already.

European official says Obama-nation’s legacy is being erased? Now I know Obama-nation knows he’s being erased. Not totally, though, as he will be well known as the president jailed for using the FBI & other agencies illegally.

Perhaps Pompeo, Jordan, or Pence after two terms of Trump.

I was struck by the statement of “we’re under pressure from public opinion’ vis-a-vis European diminishing support for Israel. It’s poignet to consider how they are turning into Muslim states themselves and destroying their own culture and history.

Next was the demand for Israel to ‘investigate the Gaza deaths’. That one is so easy and so obvious that they should do it. Take about half a day of writing polispeak, wait two weeks then publish it with the resulting conclusion ‘They were shot because they were violently trying to enter Israel’.
