LifeSiteNews did an article saying 81% favor restricting abortions after 3 months. Kind of unbelievable.
I would take anything LSN says with a grain of salt. They like to put their particular spin on things by omitting the details that don't support their narrative. At any rate, even if this was accurate, 81% supporting restrictions after three months is hardly a full-throated condemnation of abortion.
Personally, I think more people in their hearts (and in the privacy of the voting booth) support abortion that they'll tell pollsters, their friends, fellow parishioners, etc. Lots of people honestly consider themselves pro-life but know deep down that there might be certain awful situations when they'd seek out a Planned Parenthood and be glad to find one around. They'll never admit it to anyone though.
