Now. Let’s here this ••• directly •••• from Kim Jong Un’s fat face ••directly••, not second-hand through his bitch Moon Jae In and let’s hear it in Korean carried in his own NK press.

It’ll never happen.

Because he does not mean it.

He is not sincere. We are being jerked again. Duh.

He’s playing games as usual and the sooner that is realized, the better.

BINGO! This is all the usual NK kabuki theater that NK has been successfully playing for over half a century to extort $ from America, South Korea, etc.

Fortunately, President Trump and Ambassador Bolton are not fools, they know exactly what little rocket boy is up to and have no intention of playing the usual game with the usual failed results.

It all looks very hopeful, but as Ronald Reagan said; “Trust, but verify!”

And Trump says, "Got it, Gipper."

The deal has been done. This is all Kabuki. I don’t think Un enjoys running NK. I think the people he has executed were hardliners. I also think there is a whole lot of palace intrigue in NK. He got a taste of the West in Switzerland, and he liked it. I mean look at him. He wants a McD real close. Ask yourself why he flies in Big Macs 100+ miles from China. He misses being in the West. Look at his generals with the crazy hats. 70 year olds, if not older ie cranky old farts. His sister gets back from SK after the Olympics, and there was some serious talks between Un and her about just how backward NK is in comparison to SK and does not need to be. She was slipped a sat phone at the games with Trumps number on speed dial. Why do I say that? Read Trumps statement where he says send me a letter or call me. I predict you will see Un hosted at MarAlago within a year.

If this is all straight up, NK is going get dragged 200 years into their future in about 6 months.

The markets and infrastructure demands that will come with a " genuine attempt" at real progress/development by NK will have investors/speculators and entrepreneurs lined up to get a piece of the action.

I'm skeptical, but if these actions by Kim are legitimate, his country stands to gain at least as much as any in the process.

One of the biggest leftists in South Korean modern political history. He is the equivalent to a South Korean Bernie Sanders, with the tough diplomatic mettle of a John Kerry or a Madeline Albright.

Why in the hell would some Freepers think he is the greatest thing to come down the pike since chipped beef? Is this a conservative, free-market anti-communist forum any more? Is appeasement that much in fashion these days?

Little rocket boy doesn't need nukes to continue to present "a clear and present danger" to his neighbors.

BS. You should read the rest comments prior to responding. If Kim gives up his nukes ya think he's then going to turn around and use conventional weapons on SK? Really? Ya didn't think that out much did ya?

Yep, you and several others on this forum are moving the goalposts No question. In fact, if this comes to fruition, you and a few others will be doing nothing but moving the goalposts every inch of the way. Just like the leftist do with Trump, 24/7.

But you and several others are free to continually redefine the conditions for victory. It's laughable.☺

I agree. And those who have an interest in conflict and there are many, will complain and redefine success/victory every step of the way if Trump is successful denuclearizing North Korea.

And some here are as bad as the media at trying to make Trump look small and foolish.

You’ll see. Much more will be accomplished than the nukes.
