I dont know much about the investigation - WHY dont we know much about the investigation?

What rationale could there possibly be for keeping information out of the public domain? According to law enforcement, there was only one shooter and he was killed. There won’t be any trial so why hold back the info?
“Citizen journalist” Laura Loomer has some fascinating info on her site re: the Las Vegas mass shooting. There are ISIS fingerprints all over it. Perhaps the Powers That Be simply don’t want radical Muslims to be shown to be guilty — again. Sort of how the media use terms like “teens” and “youths” and decline to print mugshots in order to downplay black crime, and black-on-white crime in particular.
One very telling clue pointing to Paddock as a Muslim convert and ISIS sympathizer (aside from ISIS stating that he had converted several months prior to the event: Sharia law says that debts are the only thing that cannot ever be forgiven, so jihadists dutifully pay back any debts before going to their death. Paddock is reported to have paid off significant gambling debts in the weeks before the shooting. There’s much more interesting info on Loomer’s site. Mexico, the Philippines, the Danley woman, etc.
Same thing in Austin with the Pflugerbomber. He left a magnum opus recording on his cellphone, but Austin Police chief Brian Manley (that's his name, really) says they're not going to release it. Cops are becoming more imperial these days.
