yeah, I know .... 4D chess, trust the plan, etc.

No, that's a false dicholtomy. There's no secret plan to prosecute Hillary. There's not going to be a prosecution even you fire Sessions and replace him with ... anybody. Very little will happen to the Crossfire Hurricane squad. Some of the lower level folks will get slaps on the wrist, like how McCabe was fired (and might get his pension regardless).

It's long past time to pretend that some substantial investigation is happening behind the scenes or that it could happen under any AG. But there is a bright side, the American people are learning more about spygate. They will eventually learn that the implanted government agents were the main source of "Russian" influence "evidence". They concocted it. They will realize that Crossfire Hurricane was based on the dossier and/or the same bogus Russian intel as the dossier. Then they will vote for reform.

The side that include the media, dem politicians and rabid anti-trumpers is a minority. The silent majoritty wiill reject that. There is another minority well represented here which is folks who want treason charges and gallows. That's obviously not going to happen. They don't really represent the silent majority either.

The Democrats, the media, and Team Mueller are trying a coup to undo what the people (whom they consider peons) did.

Trump doesn’t trust Sessions, so why should I?

Btw, Schumer and Lindsey Graham TRUST SESSIONS. Not going to follow their lead.

“Trust sessions” is like a trigger for you. Trump put him there. I’m sure he would get rid of him if he didn’t want him there.

You have it backwards. Do NOT trust Sessions triggers the Qers.

“Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else,” Mr. Trump said.

Sessions put Trump between a rock and a hard place. On one side is Mueller, steamrolling mercilessly over even Trump’s donors, much less his actual associates. On the other side is Grassley and the rest of the GOP Permanent Political Class swamp monsters, who have vowed never to confirm an AG replacement, and to unleash h@ly hell on Trump if if he touches a hair on Sessions head. It’s insidious.

‘Trump expressed his disappointment in the Justice Department during a Fox News interview in which he said Comey is “guilty of crimes” that could be uncovered “if we had a Justice Department that was doing their job.

When asked why he doesn’t push the department to do more, Trump say he’s staying out for now.

“Because of the fact that they have this witch hunt going on with people in the Justice Department that shouldn’t be there, they have a witch hunt against the president of the United States going on, I’ve taken the position, and I don’t have to take this position and maybe I’ll change, that I will not be involved with the Justice Department,” he said. “I will wait until this is over. It’s a total, it’s all lies and it’s a horrible thing that is going on, a horrible thing.”

Trump has repeatedly lashed out at Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who heads the department, for recusing himself from the Russia investigation. Trump has previously called on the department to target leakers, but no one has been prosecuted for leaks critical of the Trump administration.

“So very disappointed in my Justice Department,” Trump said. “Because of the fact it is going on, and I think you will understand this, I have decided I won’t be involved. I may change my mind at some point because what is going on is a disgrace. It is an absolute disgrace. By the way only collusion is with Democrats and Russians.”’

I trust Trump when he said that if sneaky Sessions had given him advance notice of the planned recusal, he, Trump, would have picked a different AG.

I trust Trump when he says Sessions’ DOJ is a total disgrace.

And I am sure if the time comes that he thinks its required, trump will fire sessions. I surprised he hasn’t yet but that might be the 4d chess thingy.

All of the Democrats and all of the Republicans who spoke up [and it was *many*] sided with Sessions. (I.e.: sided with Sessions when Trump broached the possibility of firing him.) Not a single Republican backed Trump—not even a one member of the House.

People blithely assume that Trump can fire Sessions any time he wants to and the blowback will be survivable. What is the evidence for that position? Grassley very publicly and very stringently vowed that if Trump fires Sessions, he will never, ever get another AG confirmed. How and why is this so hard to understand?

When Nixon fired his AG he wasn’t planning on getting drummed out of office. Believe it or not, the Nixon-hate was not on par with the Trump-hate. Society has degraded considerably since Nixon. To cite just one example, nobody spoke in sexual terms about Nixon’s daughters. Baron is younger than they were, and Leftists have publicly said unspeakably horrible, graphic things about him sexually.

The cavalier idea that Trump can act independently of a DC swamp that hates him and suffer no dire, possibly career-ending consequences is simply not circumspect. The swamp hates Trump, and is only lying in wait for him to make a Nixonian mistake—and then it will pounce.
