"I feel, increasingly, that if you're a member of Congress, they assume that you're not good," Costello told CNN.

The guy seems fairly perceptive.

He announced his retirement on MSNBC!....that in itself speaks volumns. Further Costello got hit the hardest with the district changes... saw his district move from having a Republican-leaning constituency to a narrowly Democratic one.
he announced that he was dropping his reelection bid soon after these changes.

It’s pretty cheesy using Trump as his excuse.

Excellent news.

This is the text of a note I sent this RINO in response to his "Ryan Report':

"“I read your Ryan Report this morning, which I don't often do, having pretty much given up on the ability of government to do much good. I did have to smile, however, at the well-intentioned efforts to legislate goodness in a godless society, which sadly describes the state of America today.

America, once blessed of God, has abandoned God, and will not be blessed again unless she returns to God.

Government is the heavy hand that comes down to compel goodness when men fail to regulate their own behavior, and the most efficient and effective way to ensure goodness is to have it spring within the soul of men, not legislated piecemeal by well-meaning yet imperfect men and women in government.

I appreciate your efforts Congressman, but what America needs is not more government but more God.

We need the government to recognize our true roots as a Christian nation and reshape every segment of our society to conform to the vision of our Founding Fathers.

Repentance and revival, starting with Congress, would be an excellent start.”
