I am not a conservative. I am a nationalist. I am interested in the future of my children and grandchildren more than I am in “conservative principles”, and I will act to preserve the future of my kids, and my friends kids, by whatever means necessary.
You beat me to it (see my tagline). Although I would also make it a (small l) libertarian-nationalist. I want as much freedom as possible, but you can't have freedom without a strong nation, something the Libertarian Party doesn't get. So first and foremost I'm a nationalist.
What is wrong with being a conservative?
I am a Federalist, not a Nationalist. I believe in localized governments and the Federation of the States rather than an all powerfull centralized Nationalized government. I am for State rights and the 10th Amendment as intended. https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2016/04/nationalism_versus_federalism.html
