Not “spies”; not “informants”; not “Spy operation. This was a DOJ/FBI special operation, using “Agent Provocateurs” to attempt to entice folks, marginally connected to the Trump campaign, to do or say something that would create the appearance of collusion with Russia.
In other words, DOJ/FBI was not looking for Russian collusion (which they knew did not exist) but to CREATE THAT COLLUSION (or the APPEARANCE OF COLLUSION).
