The only publically released additional duty Huber has been tasked with is independently investigating whether a new Special Counsel appointment is justified, according to the law. His findings are to be reported directly to Sessions and Rosenstein. The letter Sessions sent states that, and not much else.
I hope there is some secret task force working on indicting the criminals from Obama’s administration. But there is no proof of that anywhere, and it would most definitely leak.
There is no reason to trust U.S. Attorney John Huber.
(1) Obama appointed him.
(2) When Trump re-nominated Huber, every Democrat in the Senate voted for him.
(3) Huber was selected as a Special Investigator by Jeff Sessions, the same guy who selected Rod Rosenstein for Deputy A.G.
