The question of whether these “steel cage” accommodations were better or worse than what they had in their home country sh*thole remains unanswered.
I would wager that the absence of vermin or dirt floors, and the presence of interior climate controls and indoor plumbing made this lodging better than many options they have experienced. Maybe that chain link door was for their protection, not their confinement. OR maybe leaving it open introduced a hazard if they had to evacuate for fire or some reason.
I’m sure some Progressives outraged by this Ooobomma administration treatment of these yoots could have turned over their pool house or their 6th bedroom to improve the conditions of the lodging for the illegals, but somehow I bet that didn’t happen much.
Obama’nation kept illegal kids in cages, & demonrats didn’t complain? Can’t remember if Trump said it, but it’s obvious Demonrats don’t give a flying frig about illegals.
