Business is the perfect preparation for politics, because both are about people. And you can’t succeed in politics or business unless you at least sorta like other people and can get along with them (this was always Hillary’s problem).
That’s why whenever the Media assuredly insisted Trump knew nothing about politics and would get crushed, it just seemed like pure ignorance on display by idiots. And it was.
The longer Mueller drags this thing out, and the more obviously biased people he hires, and the more bogus trumped up charges he brings against fringe characters, the more people see that it is just bitter grapes by the dems and their media lapdogs.
Mueller is the Democrats’ Ken Starr.
He is the most hated man in the country because of the widespread perception his investigation is political in nature.
Impeachment is about politics, not the law. By defining Mueller as a partisan inquisitor, Trump has dealt a death blow to the legitimacy of Mueller’s work.
That is why it would be a huge mistake for Trump to sit down with him. When your enemy is in the process of destroying himself, don’t interfere.
Actually it is Mueller who is losing in his attempt to tarnish President Trump with bogus allegations of impropriety.
Even people who are not Trump supporters can see that after a year and a half of digging Mueller hasn’t come up with one shred of evidence against the president.
But I don’t think Mueller will back off.
He is as dirty as they come.
He isn’t seeking justice - he is seeking to burn the president.
The way he staffed this investigation is proof of that.
I believe Mueller will double down and become even more determined to nail the president.
If need be he will be willing to skirt the law by forcing someone into a false confession against the President.
In the last poll I saw 44% of respondents still backed Mueller. Ken Starr had the press viciously attacking him daily. Mueller has the MSM’s full backing. Trump’s tweets are the only reason—or certainly the main reason—support for Mueller has slipped at all. Trump is fighting this all but singlehandedly, thanks to Sessions’ blindside recusal.

Trump has to find a way to fire Sessions and soon! - the DOJ is a disaster unless this happens. It is completely neutered, ineffective and harmful to Trump in this condition.
I firmly believe that if Trump fires Sessions the Democrats and most of the Republicans will try to reenact Watergate. It’s their best chance of getting rid of Trump permanently, or of defanging him at a minimum.
Otoh, there may come a time when Trump can safely fire Rosenstein. There are many risks associated with that too, but it’s possible that he could survive it under certain conditions. If so, that would go a long way toward solving the problem. Sessions is the enabler, but Rosenstein is the actual abuser.

Mueller is demonizing himself. Dishonest partisanship and assistance to a treasonous agenda by the Treason Twins (Hillary and Obama) will see him in prison for the rest of his life (conspiracy to coverup Treason is Treason).
DJT is skillfully using Mueller to wipe out the Democrats in November. Mueller is co-operating in that endeavor, possibly in order to avoid his own incarceration, possibly wittingly or unwittingly, willingly or unwillingly, but co-operating he is.
The fastest way to get the Mueller probe shut down is to appoint a special prosecutor for each of the illegal activities “discovered” by the probe.
