It was just a matter of time. As with “Last Man Standing”, the networks are willing to cancel profitable shows if they don’t like the message their own show is providing.
“The Narrative” is the only thing these businesses care about, and Roseanne’s Narrative wasn’t theirs.
There was nothing racist about her comment as far as I’m concerned.
If Roseanne Barr had said the exact same thing about Ben Carson or Clarence Thomas that she said about Valerie Jarrett, not only would her show still be on the air, it would have been renewed for another two seasons already — and every “woke” “progressive” would be fervently defending her. No question about it.
A bad joke is now grounds for corporate retribution.
The liberals who run ABC are the ones who are intolerant.
Keep in mind that in our snowflake culture, the greatest offense is to hurt someone’s feelings.
That’s not about punishing alleged racism and what ABC did is out of line with the alleged offense.
But they run a business and they have the right to termninate their relationship wth Ms. Barr without having to give a reason.
There’s an obvious double-standard at work, but objectively, she really blew it. Using “Planet of the Apes” in reference to a black woman is beyond stupid.
Boycott ABC. All their other shows are utter crap!

ABC is probably NOT going to reverse its decision, so, I’m not going to put much thought on it.
To me, Jarrett looks more like a reptile, than an ape, anyway. but the left has their “trigger”, which is what they were waiting for in ambush.
