I truly don’t understand some of the conservatives here in FR Land. reading who this person admires, listens to, and emulates would indicate some fairly strong conservative credentials. While no one can judge his actual beliefs and the depth of his convictions, still this activism to clean up college campuses should be hailed by every conservative as a turn in the right direction. so what if he fails the “test” at some point in his life. What he is doing right now has merit and to me it is a refreshing change from the usual campus stuff. All is not lost. He will have my support, like Trump who is also not perfect, until he proves he is not worthy.

If he views his mother and Obama as honorable, then he is at best a naive quasi-conservative.

He can do as he pleases. As someone who grew up in that moral and spiritual vacuum, I will think as I like.
