Stanford is now more liberal than UC Berkeley.
Rush frequently gets things wrong when he tries to understand Silicon Valley.

Not exactly true. I’m a Stanford grad and Berkeley is 1000 times worse. I can walk there with a MAGA cap and no one (maybe one or 2 leftard assholes would but I doubt it because I’m a big guy who will kick their ass) would bother me. Try doing this is UC Berserkeley...

He didn't get anything wrong. He quoted from the article.

Have you been to Berkeley? I have and Berkeley wins easily - I mean easily - no contest.

Exactly right. I am a lifelong conservative who grew up one mile from Berkeley Wannabe Stanford.

I know it intimately as an outsider who was hated by students (and sometimes teachers) in childhood just for being decent and polite - and for not hating the “right” people.

I had the grades (3.91 GPA at a demanding private school, before the age of grade inflation), the scores (99%ile, SAT & ACT), and the awards (3 Math, 2 Science) to attend Stanford. I did not even apply there.

The last thing I wanted was to spend more time around those effete, elite, communistic, atheistic brats and jerks.

It was pathetically leftist then; it is far worse now. On this, Rush is from Missouri.
