A recent article where former NeverTrumper Frank Luntz hooked Dem hopes on Pelosi's popularity, there's was a robust debate about Pelosi's ability to motivate swing voters to go Repub in the Midterms. Many believe the average voter likely won't go R just because of Pelosi. Indeed a meaningfully large number of people don't even know who IS Pelosi.
Maybe this ad is part of a strategy, to first stir up the base THEN release ads that get swing voters to go R. But, seeing as the Repubs often play like the Falcons in SB 51, I need more proof before I cheer this effort.
Agreed. IMO Nancy could well be stepping down by November anyway, and personalizing her as the target is risky. Most of those who know enough to be triggered by her, like us, are already going to vote.
We’ve still little to show on immigration since Trump took office and dumbing the issue down to violent gang members is halfway toward his pronouncement last month that “We can all agree we need guest workers, right?” Stuff like the caravan show that we are still feckless against the invasion. It is major, substantial action to not only stem the tide, but to also reverse it that we need. Get ‘em out of here!
