My problem with banning them is that this will be just a first step in controlling what you may eat and how much. Insurance companies will raise your rates just for eating buttered popcorn, or a gram over your mayonnaise allowance...
I don’t think that’s true. That’s like saying you can’t eat poison mushrooms, so we’re going to ban all mushrooms.
Slowly there is growing recognition that government food policies have been disastrous. It’s not a partisan issue. Bad science is bad science, even if it was “settled” 50 years ago...
