Publix CEO Todd Jones on Tuesday told the father of a Parkland, Florida student killed in the February 14 massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that the Florida-based supermarket chain would not be making a donation to the school’s student fund. Last week leftist revolutionary Parkland student gun control activist David Hogg demanded Publix give $1 million to the Stoneman Douglas Victim’s fund to atone for donating a reported $670,000 in recent years to Adam Putnam, a pro-NRA Florida Republican running for governor. Hogg led a die-in inside Publix stores last Friday to protest Publix’s support for Putnam, who is currently Florida’s Agriculture Commissioner.

Just before the start of the die-ins Friday afternoon Publix announce it was suspending political donations for a period of review. A Publix customer service representative told this writer Friday evening Publix had taken no decision at that point on Hogg’s million dollar demand.

Hogg is a waste of time and space in life. He actually could have done some good if he pointed the finger at the right culprits in this issue. What the left does in using dead children to push leftism is absolutely disgusting. Hogg is a zero and always will be.
Need to go to Publix more often.

Publix should state that Adam Putnam and the NRA had nothing to do with Parkland. That is was the shooter himself, plus the failure of the “authorities” to act that caused the tragedy . .

The protest movement had died earlier that year when the draft was abolished.
Publix should announce that they will contribute another $1,000 to Putnam for each die-in at one of their stores.

David Hogg handed his first major defeat.
He’s on the run - when you push back against tyrants, they developing grudging respect for their opponents.
Hogg has has his fifteen minutes of fame. Its time to move on.
Publix ticked off a lot of customers by allowing the little toerags into the store in the first place, and then by allowing them to impede shoppers when they should have been tazed, cuffed, and hauled off.
I will be frequenting Winn Dixie in the weeks and months ahead.

Yup. In a failing effort to stop the camera hogs behavior, Publix announced they would suspend all political contributions.
Local media told her this, but the camera hogs went ahead anyway. Afterwards, the chief spokeskid threatened to return if Publix EVER donated to a pro-NRA candidate again.

Well - Publix did a partial cave and was rewarded by them doing the “die in” anyway.....Publix is Clinton/Bush/Obama and Hogg is North Korea....
