...”new study concluded that the death toll in Puerto Rico due to Hurricane Maria...”

Duplicity.

Headline says “Trump responsible”, and his quote is saying deaths are “due to” the Hurricane.

A liberal Harvard “study” estimates the deaths and we are supposed to take it as a fact? FAKE STUDY

Seems to be the latest BS meme from the Blame-Donald-Firsters.

It is, of course, utter horse sh*t.

Dems trying to do to Trump what they did to Bush after Catrina. Dems ran the governments in both cases and places, screwed up royally, but blame it on a Republican national administration. That’s the Dem playbook.

How is it Trump’s fault PR can’t count? It’s not his fault the island is so corrupt. Heck, the mayor couldn’t even get the supplies distributed Trump sent them. Somehow, it’s also Trump’s fault they have had crappy electrical power and water for decades.

democRATS are desperately seeking a narrative that will stick to the wall for the 2018 midterms and 2020 presidential elections.

So far all they have is they hate Trump, love MS-13, love illegals, hate Israel, love Hamas, love Iran, love communist China, hate guns, the NRA and the 2nd Amendment, love that two-time loser Hillary Klunker and think Oprah and Mooch Obama lead the pack of presidential contenders.

Blaming Trump for Puerto Rico is like blaming Coke for Pepsi.

democRATS own and run Puerto Rico. It was a dump before the hurricanes and remains a dump.

That was the mayor of San Juan, but yeah, I get your point.

She complained about the response from FEMA, but had skipped all of the weekly FEMA meeting that started just before hurricane IVON hit the island.

Add to it that the head of the electrical workers union on the island did not allow line crews that came in from the States on their own dime to help. The reason given was that the volunteers were not certified/skilled to perform the work.

Compound that with the fact that the head of the local trucking union declared that they wouldn’t move any of the relief supplies until their contract was renegotiated.

Most of the negative aftermath of the two hurricanes was self-inflicted. The saddest part is that the local politicians and bureaucrats that either caused or mis-managed this situation will be re-elected and/or keep their jobs.

“Trump didn’t pay his taxes” didn’t work. “Trump colluded with the Russians” didn’t work. “Trump’s going to start a war with North Korea” didn’t work. “Stormy Daniels” didn’t work. So I guess now they’ll give “Trump killed people in Puerto Rico” a try.

You might want to look at the territorial government as well the mayors of the cities. And the people don’t seem to have taken any initiative other than looking for someone to deliver free [stuff].

And the power system is third world.

LOL

New RAT talking point. Put Trump on the defensive. Control the narrative.

Trump and his supporters are racists and kill Puerto Ricans.

The Harvard “study” estimates the number of deaths . . .

Nonsense. Puerto Rico has received billions and has done nothing over the decades to prepare for the big hurricane

They did a lot with the money, mostly going to family and friends bank accounts, luxury yachts, homes with swimming pools, etc etc. The utility company is as corrupt as any in PR and the US did not want to pay for infrastructure twice.

but that is okay with the fascist left. Bleed the Govt for personal use.

i'd like to know the total number of deaths over that same period then subtract the alleged storm deaths

if the number is statistically insignificant, so are their assumptions

"The Trump administration's failure to deliver timely and sufficient aid to United States citizens in Puerto Rico was an utterly careless decision with deadly consequences," Gallego said. "The Trump administration must be held accountable for their abject failure to protect and assist our fellow Americans."

This is an absolute lie. Disgusting people who say things like this.

right - she was skipping the FEMA meetings but then said they were not doing enough. She was lying - but the media reported it as fact, knowing full well like the rest of us she was not showing up for the meetings.
