Nice post but not the reality of prison life. Prisons are ‘a city’ unto themselves where the ‘citizens’ are all criminals locked in their ‘home’ cells. Respect and dignity among the inmates are determined by ‘their’ rules not the guards...... When they are let out or transported etc. all bets are off....anything can happen and does...there are no lines that can’t be crossed.
As for the guards...every system of operation has their bad seeds.....including the Pastors and Leaders of our churches.
In society at large, where there will always be some malefactors who have escaped apprehension or potential malefactors who haven’t occasioned it yet, one could say the same thing, and yet we still try to keep as much security and order as practical.
I see an attempt to say “Not a problem” to the legal complaint raised. Sorry, can’t agree. Not if we want to keep our consciences.
