I think Trump is not firing anybody because the more the wheels come off of this scam in a very public way, the more it is helping Trump.

“I think Trump is not firing anybody....”

Exactly.

If Trump were to order Sessions to fire Mueller, then fire Sessions if he refused, then order Rosenstien to do the same, then fire him if he refused, and go through the ranks until he found an acting AG willing to actually fire Mueller - this would be the exact chain of events started by Richard Nixon known as the Saturday Night Massacre.

That worked out so well for Nixon! /s

Yet, that is exactly what people here on FR (who call themselves Trump supporters) are screaming at Trump to do!

Why? What do they think will happen? What do they really want to happen?

Any advice for Trump to start firing AGs and acting AGs, or forcing their resignations, with the ultimate goal of firing Mueller - is VERY BAD ADVICE!

It’s exactly the desperate move that the impeach Trump movement has been attempting to bait him into making, because it worked so well on Nixon. By using his executive authority to fire Cox, Nixon committed the ultimate obstruction and nailed down the lid of his own coffin. His AGs knew it was such a terrible idea they resigned rather than carry out his orders!

This constant pressure on FR for Trump or Sessions to start a chain reaction of orders/firings/resignations in order to remove Mueller - is either trolling or its stupid - not sure which.

Luckily Trump is too smart to repeat Nixon’s mistakes.
