In reality, of course, it shouldn’t matter what other people think. But as a measure of social change, the Gallup organization has once again uncovered another shift in Americans’ thinking. It’s intriguing despite that unbelievably boring sociology professor I had quite a few years ago.
Back in 1977 when Gallup first asked why people thought gays were gay and lesbians were lesbians — otherwise known as “nature vs nurture” — a substantial majority of Americans knew it was their upbringing and environment. Back then, 56 percent said that and only 13 percent said it was a birth trait.
That thinking didn’t change much until the last decade of the 20th century. But by the middle of Bill Clinton’s two terms, Gallup was detecting a dramatic shift. In 1996, the birth belief had jumped to 31 percent and by George W. Bush’s inauguration in 2001 it had climbed to 40 percent.
Now, according to Gallup’s latest pulse-taking, fully half of Americans have bought into the birth belief, while the environment crowd has dwindled to 30 percent. Ten percent attribute both causes while six percent just don’t know.
The growth in the birth believers has come across all political and demographic groups. But over time it is most pronounced among college graduates, younger people (18 to 34), Democrats, other left-leaners and non-churchgoers. It’s also moving among conservatives, Republicans and churchgoers, but less so.
The shifts parallel a similar social movement regarding same-sex marriage. Today, a new high — more than two-thirds (67 percent) — favor same-sex marriages being legal, which is helpful if immaterial because the Supreme Court has already ruled that.
Gallup also recently found the percentage of Americans identifying as bisexual, gay, lesbian or transgender has increased to 4.5 percent, a one point jump since 2012. Of course, that could also represent simply more feeling comfortable publicly acknowledging their orientation rather han an actual increase.
It’s all about promoting their agenda. If someone is ‘born’ gay, they are ‘entitled’ to the same civil rights protections as someone born black. If being gay is a behavioral choice, not nearly so much.
Male homos are homos because they were raped or molested by a man/older boy during a pivotal period in their psychosocial development, resulting in confusion about what’s normal and what is not.
Simply put, homos create more homos by raping boys.
Most homosexuals are not born that way. They just get sucked into it.
A percentage of people are entering same-sex culture not because they are homosexual, but because it is a social trend and people are loathe to be uncool or ‘hateful’.
History indicates that the trend will not reverse itself outside of divine intervention.
For guys, they simply kinda get sucked into it
I still believe most homos are ‘made that way’ by life experiences, not genetics. HOWEVER, imho it doesn’t matter. The good Lord has told them, us, everybody what He expects, wants in the way of behavior, conduct. And that does NOT include “the homosexual lifestyle!”
The Lord is pretty clear about all this.
Judgment is coming.
It’s demonic. Many of them flaunt their sin. Gays are especially interested in straight men, hoping to tie them to the same demonic force.

Take God away from our schools and government institutions and the above will be ignored ( as it is slowly becoming now ).

...
I think it’s mental illness.
So homosexuality is innate, whereas gender is fluid...how does that work exactly?
I thought that most just got sucked into the lifestyle...
I’m not sure where I stand on this one. On the one hand, it seems obvious that you don’t have to act on any and all of your behavioral urges. On the other, for myself, I’ve never experienced that particular urge. So if I didn’t make a choice to be straight, then why is someone else seen as choosing to be gay?
Lesbians as well. Talk to a Lesbian and there is always some sort of daddy issue, bad treatment by males or some other childhood trauma in their background.
Your post is it in a nutshell.
It is their Holy Grail.
100%
And who is to say Pedastery or Bestiality isnt in the genes?
Shhh. Dont ask questions like that.
[[Gays are especially interested in straight me]]
Yup- that is the nature of the demonic sin lifestyle- they are no longer content ‘just being homosexuals’- they now seek ‘higher thrills’ by trying to corrupt those who are straight- to pull them down into their immoral sewer- that is what gets them excited- just like the men of the city demanding that lot send the two straight men out to them so they could brutally rape aND corrupt them
Demonic sinners are never satisfied- they need more andm ore deviant acts to satisfy their never ending lusts-
Jeffry Dahmer actually stated that them ore he let himself cross the line, the more excited he felt- and before long he needed more and more deviant acts to try to satisfy his unquenchable thirst for deviancy
No moreso that a person born with FAS has a right to be a drunkard.
And watch how this going to tsist around when someone starts pushing the narrative that pedophiles are "born that way."
Homosexuality is a preference, not assigned at birth.
There are former gays and lesbians (NYC mayor’s wife for example), but there are no former black people.
