I’ve read several universities plan to keep this unjust kangaroo court system even though the original dear colleague letter is no longer policy.

I’d like to see the Trump administration send out another dear colleague letter informing universities that they WILL stop this crap immediately and WILL provide due process or all federal funding for everything including student loans will be cut off. And they have about 30 days to comply.

“Due process” would throw out most date rape claims. The accuser would have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the sex was not consensual. Feminists would NOT be happy if the current standard of “believe the woman” is dropped.

The reality is that sexual harassment at the level of faculty and administration is rampant in many universities, and just like Harvey Weinstein, for years and years they get away with it - and may never be held responsible. Students, outside of tuition, don't generally bring in money or wield power. They are expendable, so they get sacrificed at the altar of political correctness, while the powerful within the universities skate.
