Good. Our NAFTA “partners” are raping us in trade. Why do we have a $18 billion deficit with Canada, who has 10% of our population. They produce more goods than the US? Methinks Canada will blink first and our trade deficit will close to zero...same with Mexico...who will be paying for the wall.

OMG!!! Where am I going to get my frozen beaver burgers, my sawdust, my picked moose tails and my canadian cars (oh, wait...they don’t make any cars)? Other than obnoxious so-called “comics” (the Ivanka is a c*** statement came from a canadian loser), what does canada “produce”?

Meh. I can watch Red Green for free on PBS or YouTube. I don’t need anything else from Canada. ;)

Nothing to worry about. Trump vs. Trudeau (aka Soy Boy, Little Potato, etc...) is mismatch of mammoth proportions. This will be fun!

Hmmm.... now that is very interesting and I could never have guessed it could happen.

I have sympathy. It is very strange how things have unintended consequences.

“Floridian speaking here....Can we impose a tariff on the Canadian winter medical tourists?”

If you ban fat men in too-small speedos, Quebec tourism will plummet.

"I like Moosehead!"

That makes one of us. Hehehe.

The Canucks have been importing steel and aluminum from China and not even being shy about re-exporting it to the US, often with the Chinese characters still on the sheet steel. They are complicit in tariff dodging and they know it. They will come around after a bit of bluster.

Exports to the USA are 18% of the Canadian GDP and 27% of the Mexican GDP. It was a nice little scam while it lasted, their re-exporting game but the jig is up.

Canada makes a couple of great products. The Bombardier engine (jet skis, snowmobiles) and DeHavilland aircraft (Twin Otter, etc.) Although I believe DeHavilland may have originally been from England.

The EU imposes much higher tariffs on US goods than we do with imports from them. The US is the least protectionist country in the world. It is time to level the playing field.
