"MediaBuzz" anchor Howard Kurtz said Thursday the media is showing selective outrage after comedian Samantha Bee called White House adviser Ivanka Trump a "feckless c---."
Reacting on "America's Newsroom," Kurtz said Bee's comment is a "shining example of viciousness" but there has been "no uproar" against TBS to this point, compared to the "Roseanne" show cancellation just days ago.
"It's the worst word in the English language that you can use to describe a woman. ... Instead it's being reported as, 'Wow did you see what Samantha Bee said?' The media's outrage against Roseanne, which is justified, is kind of very selective and I'm not seeing it against Samantha Bee," he said.

But Rosanne said “Planet of the Apes”. That’s got to be worse than the holocaust or something.

Samantha Bee used an epithet towards a woman no one would use in decent society.
Yet Barr was punished by ABC by having her show canceled while Bee gets to walk with an apology for far worse.
And if this isn’t an egregrious double standard, I don’t know what is.
Barr also apologized for the record and what we have learned is not all apologies are created equal.

I wondered since the first movie, how could a studio allow a film series that has the innuendo of similarities to non-whites we run into every day being like those characters?
The Reginald Denny assaults and Rodney King riots looked like film scenes from the series.
I know they deliberately made praiseworthy L.A. officials African American actors in the casting and so on, but still it looked controversial and creepy to me.

There is no “freedom of speech” or freedom of political activity for whites in America. Since the freedom only applies to persons of color or feminists or Democrat leaders, then it is a privilege, not a true freedom.
We once had “freedom” to say peppy, cheerful, positive things about King George. Anything about revolution against the Crown or unhappy things about him meant hanging or prison for the colonies’ residents in the 1770s.
Same today for pro-Trump or honest and candid statements about persons of color. Sorry, no freedom.
