You are correct. I’ve been involved with SNAP and many adult men who were molested by priests or authority figures as children ARE NOTHING BUT STRAIGHT. They often have problems with relationships or even sex, some have a hard time relaxing, letting go, etc. but they are as heterosexual as you. Being molested by a man didn’t make them want men.

Heterosexual people who are molested / have sex with/ the same sex find out that you don’t die from it and the body can “perform” in it. Even if you have zero attraction to the same sex. Many prisoners find this out. Many probably close their eyes and pretend it is the opposite sex doing the act. It doesn’t change their orientation.

Imagine you were drugged like the woman described today with Bill Cosby. She was still conscious but unable to control her body or her voice. And he has sex with her against her will, and she could do nothing but lie there. This COULD happen to you. Would you be attracted to men forever more after that experience???? That is true. But you also have to take into account those who were abused and are now gay. I don't think the abuse alone made them gay, but it probably pushed them in that direction when they weren't 100% sure to go that way. So the abuse didn't cause the homosexuality, but in some young people it does have an influence.
