Top-level people in the world of intelligence and independent journalism report that House Oversight chairman Trey Gowdy effectively blocked investigations into the FBI spying on the President Donald Trump campaign.
This is not the first time Gowdy, who endorsed Marco Rubio in the presidential primaries, has shut down an investigation on behalf of the establishment. But the fact that many traditional conservative outlets carry water and run interference for Gowdy, painting him as a hero, makes it harder to call Gowdy out.
Thomas Paine, who represents the team of connected pro-America journalists and operatives at True Pundit, revealed Gowdy’s nefariousness.

I haven’t given Gowdy the benefit of the doubt since his disgraceful performance at the Benghazi hearing conclusion press conference. His prevarication was a full on display of deep-state doublespeak.
It’s something in the gene pool since he is Lindsey Graham’s nephew.

It is, indeed. Nevertheless, if the sources are top level, how top...what sources? If they are that top level, why don't they just hold a press conference?

I wish that it was as obvious to me five years ago as it is now that Gowdy is just a Deep State Establishment guy.
He fooled me for a couple years with his Kabuki theater act, but I finally caught on that he was a huge fraud.
But the last few days, he hasn’t even tried to hide it.

Another big disappointment.
Gowdy stinks. The smell is familiar. Gowdy is John McCain II. He plays factions against the middle to advance himself. A political Lothario of vast proportions. No wonder he is not running again. Those he has seduced and f**ked are about to gang up on him. He hears the drums.
Though if he is an asset, why burn him now and by having him say something so dang dumb...
More important that what Gowdy said was how and when he said it.
What can we say: Palmettos are always disappointments if not wrong.
Looking back at the Benghazi hearing, Hillary was high fiving everyone around her when it was over. I wonder if Rep. Gowdy remembers that?
So trey, what did they catch you in bed with? A dead woman or a live boy?
