Has the countdown for the Iranian regime’s fall begun?

The fall of the Ayatollahs will happen -- probably when Khameini kicks the bucket. But peace in the ME? No

What I hear from Iranian expats and people I know who visit Iran on business is that religious observance is nearing Western Euroepan levels and the corresponding hatred (yes HATRED) of arabs is rising. People see what the Izlamik state did and what the GCC is doing and take pride in their pre-Izlamik heritage.

When the Ayatollahs fall Iran will still want a greater Iran - and the Kurds will join them (the Kurds are an Irani people remember) - stretching to Latakia.

What will Israel do then? I don't know

But the Arabs fear the Iranians and there will be a war there.

Also the Turks fear Iran

There will NOT be peace

One point Lurk -- not all Iranis are Persians, only about 55% are. The rest are Irani peoples

Great Iran includes Turkmenistan, uzbekistan (the uzbeks are of iranian maternal and partial turkic paternal origin), Tajiks (pure Iranians), Baluchis, Azeris (Iranian people with a Turkic language) and Kurdsistan

Putin's dealings with Iran and Syria are exactly what the Tsars did in the 1800s:

1. iran is not a threat to Russia
2. Shias are NOT a threat outside the Middle East -- all of the terrorist attacks on the west and on Russia and India and Philippines etc. have been done by Sunnis, mostly sponsored by Saudi Arabia
   
3. Russia's aim is capturing the Dardanelles, capturing Constantinople - this has a historical, spiritual and very practical (control of the Black sea) angle to it.

putin will play Erdogan, while Erdo destroys his military (he arrested most of the senior leadership), then ends Turkey's membership in NATO, then destroys Turkeys economic rising and splits the country. THEN Russia will invade Turkey

Syria? iran? They are allies in dismembering Turkey for Russia.

I agree - a lot of that was the intent of my post but perhaps it wasn’t stated as clearly as yours.
