Apparently thats a big problem in Chicago too (judges letting accused murderers go on i-bonds). Until the poor oppressed minority gets caught breaking said judges windows, then she throws him into jail with the quickness. So we see whats important-hmmm, a little murder vs breaking a judges windows.
Read Second City Cop blog, its amazing the shenanigans Chicago pols get up to, and Im very cyncial.

The criminal element knows this all too well. We have a criminal society because justice is not served it's ‘played’ like a card game. Both sides using quotes and flavorful cliches to bolster their positions for Justice but none truly seek it. We had a fabulous Judge in my hometown who did merit out Justice so he was of course highly respected. He left the bench, retiring early, because he could not stand the Attorneys who no longer sought Justice rather they simply wanted to 'win' their case even when knowing their client was guilty. Corruption of Attorneys is huge!
