Call me a curmudgeon...

I long for the day when all Corporations get out of look at me and what I do for the community ( and behind the scenes, spending bootles on their PAC's ) and they don't spend a dime on all of the above. However, they encourage all their employees to give 10% to their favorite charity, hall of faith etc and encourage them to donate time as well. I don't want to know the politics of XYZ Corp, in fact they shouldn't care about Blue(D) or Red(R) but but the color green....

Exactly. There was a time when businesses used to be concerned about the bottom line.

Andrew Wilkow on Sirius XM Patriot 125 talked about this very problem over the last several days on his show. Said ABC and Starbucks have lost $77 million (total) due to ridiculous virtue signalling.

ABC didn't have to cancel Roseanne's show for example. They should have made her publicly apologize and maybe make her see a psychiatrist or something. But think of all the ad revenue the show has lost, the jobs employed by the camera people and food services, for example. Roseanne was a multi-million dollar show and ABC pissed it away.

Businesses are supposed to care about one thing and one thing only: Profit.
