As I've been saying for months, going to court over a SC subpoena is the wrong answer.

Simply ignore it. Refuse to acknowledge it exists.

If POTUS and his lawyers are serious about separation of powers, they need to behave like it.

Let Mueller go to court UNOPPOSED and try to get his subpoena enforced.

He’s doing this to rally the Left before the November 2018 election. Pure and simple.

I’m sure that Weasel Mueller has plenty of grimble on what Trump has done over the last decade and plenty of “He-said” testimony to trip up Trump’s memory of thousands of details.

Perjury is in the bag if Mueller can just get to question Trump.

How is Mueller going to be able to nail PRESIDENT Trump for "lying to da FBI" without issuing a "subpoena"?

How many times did Obama’s lawyers go to court to defend requests for records? Anyhow many times did ABC make it a headline story?

Everybody Mueller has victimized so far should force him to take his phony cases to trial. Unfortunately, neither Flynn nor Papadopoulos have the financial resources to do that.

I don’t know how far along the plea deal is with Papadopoulos is. Best case scenario, he hasn’t formally entered his plea yet, he sets up a GoFundMe page and forces that jackass to put on an actual trial. If you read Andy McCarthy yesterday, it’s looking like Papadopoulos was charged with a though crime.

And nobody should agree to waive their rights to a speedy trial either.

I agree. The courts are stacked against Trump, for the most part. Mueller will forum shop, and the judge he picks will gladly assert jurisdiction.

Of course, if Mueller is fired, he can't pursue a subpoena anymore, correct? Maybe that's what he wants, since he doesn't seem to have much.

So is Giuliani not all smiles and backslapping with his buddy Mueller now? Even he doesn't get how corrupt DC is.

“His latest comments come on the heels of the publication of a 20-page confidential letter sent by Trump’s lawyers to Mueller...” who leaked it to the press.

Un, duh, if he lets mueller go to court unopposed then it will be granted. It is called a default. The court has no choice but to grant it.

Robert Mueller is not the most liked and admired person in the USA. About 63,000,000 plus American registered voters hate him and his Obama/Clinton/Democrat Party, “Hate America” lock-steppers, USA Turncoats & Traitors.

If Mueller has a functioning ounce of brains & common sense in his head, he would close up shop and join the fortress, wall protected, residence of Barack Hussein & Michelle Obama....It’s right where Mueller, the all American, hater rightfully belongs...with the Obama family low life!!!

It would be a mistake for President Trump to let his fate be decided by a judge.

I agree and let Mueller go to court for the subpoena.

1. Mueller will have to defend the constutional creation of the special counsel because his U.S. attorneys have not been confirmed by the Senate.
2. He will also need to have grounds for a presidential subpoena in which the president is not a target. Again, there is specific constitutional protection for the chief executive here.

Perhaps Guilani us trying to push Mueller into overplaying his hand. Such a move would not look good politically, much like the raid on Micheal Cohen.

Its time for this to end so that president Trump, who by any fair account has turned out to be very good at being the president can get about the business of making America great again not distracted by the made up scandal wanna be lame as coup Obama and his mental giants cooked up.

Seriously this is garbage the country voted for Mr. Trump to be president - he needs to be allowed to do his job. None of the problems that have been facing this nation for decades have his finger prints on them. He is not bought by anyone so the projecting progressives need to cast him as a Putin puppet because they must make him fit to how they are bought and paid for members of the deep state uni-party elitist pervert clique.

I'm fed up with this sore loser crap enough is enough fire Rosenstein, Sessions and Mueller and do it loudly because they suck and need some shaming.

I agree with your comment. IGNORE AND NULLIFY unconstitutional federal acts.

but when will Giuliani and Trump’s team of advisers start addressing the lack of constitutional support of this WHOLE “Special Counsel” position and procedure??? Trump should publicize the lack of constitutional support for this “Special Counsel” and at some point FIRE the guy.

Trump’s advisors seem to be tone deaf to the Constitution - they got that deafness from law school. Trump needs advisors who have learned that the Constitution is to be applied AS WRITTEN AND ORIGINALLY UNDERSTOOD AND INTENDED. The Constitution is NOT what the Supreme Court says it is just because it’s the Supreme Court that says it.

AND Trump’s advisors need to get it straight that the Supreme Court does not constitutionally make national law. It’s scope of power reaches only to the parties of the individual case or controversy (U.S. Const., Art III, Sec 2, Cl. 1). Congress has the “SOLE” power to make national law (Id., Art I, Sec 1).

The Supreme Court has been allowed to become an utterly unconstitutional oligarchy. Time to STOP THE NONSENSE!
