A year or so ago, CBS had a new series based on the movie, Limitless. The main character “got sick” and planned to take the day off work ala “Ferris”. In an early scene, he just got out of the shower with a towel on his head and spoke directly to the camera. It even had references to Sloan. Very entertaining series but cancelled after one season.
