What three major cases are you referring to in your comment?
There is a huge hole for abuse. Despite all the technological advances, human nature doesn’t change - hence the mis-use, abuse, illegal and/or unethical use of data does not surprise me. I won’t even fill out an on-line survey after purchasing something in-store for Home Depot or a grocery store in order to get a free coupon or a chance to win some money. My opinion is worth more than their offer, and my privacy is nearly priceless.
I had some raised eyebrows when requesting a 90 day fraud alert a few months ago. One of the questions asked me to verify my sisters married name who lives out of state. And by the way she only lived in that state for a short period of time. How the heck do they know that?
I agree.
