Ronald Reagan's daughter says her father would be 'horrified' by President Trump

Ronald Reagan would be 'horrified' by Donald Trump's America, daughter Patti Davis believes.

Davis says the 40th President would hate Trump's anti-immigrant stance, his attacks on the free press and his 'caustic, destructive language'.

Reagan would be equally 'appalled' at Congress's failure to stand up to a President 'who seems ignorant of the Constitution', she added.

There is a difference between immigration laws and cruelty. He believed in laws; he hated cruelty.'

Why?
I am getting tired of these libtards...

“He’s a liar”
Why?”
“Because he doesn’t understand the constitution”
Why?”
“because he’s evil”
“Why?”
“Because he lies”

And around and around we go...

Barack Obama knew and understood the Constitution and saw it as an OBSTACLE to the things he wanted to accomplished,
*************************************************************

.……...thanks to Trump, we can now say all BO’s “accomplishments” got flushed just as if they NEVER happened.

Btw Patti, how do you know? This ain’t yo’ Daddy’s 1980s America

You know, after Obama’s “fundamental transformation”. The cat you failed to criticize?

You think Daddy was A OK with CommieCare? ISIS? GOTV race inspired “crises”? A press that’s 100x worse than treated RR and his legacy?

You pretend to be so smart in your eyes, But you’re just as dumb and ignorant as your fellow patients in Hollywood

President Reagan would be proud of President Trump!

Indeed, Reagan may have disagreed with Trump’s method but remember in the 1980s things were very different then they are now. Reagan was always very unpopular with the media but the shear viciousness of today’s lib media (and Liberals in general) was mostly absent.

I think you would agree different times necessitate differing methods.

Embarrassed to be known as his daughter.
Refused to take his name.
Slammed his policies the entire time he was in office.

Seems like she doesn’t even remember what he said publicly about the amnesty deal - that it would never happen again.

President Trump is taking President Reagan’s hard lesson to heart while his own flesh and blood wants to say her father would hate Trump’s stance.

She never knew him and still doesn’t accept the greatness of the man.

Well, it seemed to be the other way too, what with the “voodoo economics” rant.

Davis says the 40th President would hate Trump's anti-immigrant stance,

When Gorbachev pointed out that America had armed patrols on the Mexican border and was even them discussing plans to build a fence to limit the number of immigrants who could enter. Without pausing, Reagan pointed out the flaw in Gorbachev's analogy "There's a big difference," Reagan responded, "between wanting out and wanting in."

Not even his biological daughter but, hey—The media is happy to give a platform to anyone who will bash Trump.

She may have a point, almost. Perhaps President Reagan would be disappointed by President Trump, but he would be far more shocked and horrified by Barack Hussein Obama and by Candidate Hillary Clinton. Reagan would be disgusted by the democrats in office today, even compared to a standard as low as the pathetic losers who made up the Democrat party in his day.

No, Trump is just as “vicious”. Let’s just say he was willing to insult everyone from the beginning (i.e., long before actually being pres).

Reagan was treated very badly, but they simply could not attack him for anything he said about anything, officially or even casually (no tweeting, which I guarantee Reagan would not do). It was impossible to critique him that way, because he did not engage.

Plus, Reagan dealt with DEM legislature 95% of the time. I hardly count the 2 years Rep got the Senate briefly.

The difference was no one could knock him personally. It was impossible for anything that seemed nasty about him to stick because he didn’t play into it, and he just wasn’t that way.

Sad thing is, most people nowadays have no idea who Patti Davis is. All they'll see is "Ronald Reagan's daugter..." and run with that.

FU, media.

Patti did give an inch when she stated:”Reagan would be equally ‘appalled’ at Congress’s failure to stand up to a President ‘who seems ignorant of the Constitution’, she added.”

For this we’ll give a point. However her statement against POTUS, VSG, DJT will leave a demerit shown on her Permanent Personal Record.
