Best analogy is the SCOTUS gave the baker a reprieve from the death penalty based on improper procedures. It did not say the death penalty is unconstitutional.

Then in that case, the issues involved will be argued on other cases in the future. So then, this is not going to set a solid legal precedent.

That was only part of it. It also hinged on the fact that the baker was willing to sell a different cake to them.

From the decision:

“The Division also considered that each bakery was willing to sell other products to the prospective customers, but the Commission found Phillips’ willingness to do the same irrelevant.”
