UCLA Bruins are scheduled to play Oklahoma at Norman September 8th.
UCLA women’s softball team played in the WCWS in Oklahoma City just yesterday (lost to Florida State). UCLA women are a softball power, so next season they could very well be in Oklahoma City again. So what’s the deal Moonbeam???

On a related but slightly different subject, I watched part of these softball games while working out at my gym. I wondered: Why do women play softball and not hardball, like the boys? And what’s with this 7 inning game - why don’t they go the full nine?
I could think of some reasons, but I’d just be called a sexist.
Is there a real reason?
