Excellent. Europe is slowly waking up, thanks to people like Orban, PM of Hungary, reelected by a huge margin.

As I have said in other posts. It is not good if the Russians amd Iranians are cheering. They are as bad as Soros. Secretary Mike Pompeo made it explicitly clear that it is NOT in Hungary’s interests to be a Putin puppet state and for Russia to have monopoly on European energy.

Secretary Mike Pompeo Urges Hungary to Counter “Malign” Russian Influence in Europe.

Secretary Michael Pompeo met with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto in Washington on Wednesday. The two discussed areas of mutual interest and opportunities for our countries to increase cooperation. The Secretary underscored the importance of maintaining a vibrant civil society. The Secretary also emphasized the urgent need to help Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression, including the importance of facilitating and supporting Ukraine’s engagement with NATO, and the need to counter Russian malign influence in Central Europe. Both sides agreed that Europe should diversify its sources of energy and discussed increasing U.S. investment in Hungary. The Secretary and Foreign Minister committed to concluding a Defense Cooperation Agreement in the days ahead.

The NY Times is outraged that people in Europe are finally starting to hear the truth, instead of the tightly-controlled pro-EU propaganda they’ve been subjected to up until now.

If the NY Times is outraged, that’s a sign you’re doing something right.

Typical NY Times slanted reporting. In reality, Mr. Orbán has become a populist hero with his blunt attacks against EU overreach.

In in particular, Orbán has said hell, no to the EU's demand that Hungary be flooded with Islamic "migrants".

NYT: “Attack against liberal democracy” my Aunt Sadie Sue! Orban is defending against invasion by an anti-democratic Seventh Century political theocracy that would, given the chance, sodomize, hang, and otherwise silence the moron who wrote this tripe.

I’d like to see this headline in the NY Times (but I’m not holding my breath): Safe in NY, George Soros Pushes His Message Across Europe

Old George must be miffed that the $18Billion he gave to his Open Society Foundations is not having the desired effect in this part of the world.
