My objection to this is that it is my observation that men who beat their wives don’t wait until the third wife to do it. Neither Ivanna Trump or Marla Maples have ever accused Donald Trump of this and if I remember the divorce between Donald and Ivanna was rather contentious. The lack of even any “I want more money in the divorce settlement” claims of abuse is, at least to me, proof that David Frum is simply writing libel.
