... Yesterday we met with the president a couple times, and he is very seriously contemplating kind of a shift in the NAFTA negotiations, Kudlow says.
His preference now, and he asked me to convey this, is to actually negotiate with Mexico and Canada separately. He prefers bilateral negotiations and hes looking at two much different countries.
Kudlow says Trump hates multilateral treaties.
Canada is a different country than Mexico, they have different problems, and you know, hes believed that bilaterals have always been better, says Kudlow.
Now I know this is just three countries, but still, you know, oftentimes, when you have to compromise with a whole bunch of countries, you get the worst of the deals.
Why not try to get the best of the deals for the American people, the American workforce, the American economy and presumably for their economies as well? As I said, Canada is whole lot different than Mexico. ...

Side note: Have you ever heard of Acadian French called Patois?
We need separate agreements so that the cost of the wall is in the Mexican agreement.
But...but...that’s going to screw up the globalist plan for a North American Union.
Well there you have it.
Well they are 2 different nations...so why not?
I’m not fond of Canada either and I live in Alberta.
I think “patois” is a generic term that means any non-standard dialect
Acadian French is slightly different from Quebec French, but not much, since they intermingle a lot (most Acadians are in northern New Brunswick, right next door to Quebec)
But I do know that the France-French really look down on Quebecers, considering them to be basically low-class, because they speak a “bastardized” form of French, not the “pure” form spoken in France
e.g. “patates” vs. “pommes de terre” [potatoes]
or anglo-french terms like “les brakes”, “le steering”, “le weekend”, etc.
I agree that they should be separate agreements. The two countries are wildly different and theres no way they can meet the same conditions.
Yall are Ok, France too
Alberta is Montana!
Canadian Sears...
Aroostook Co Potaters LOL
Gonna guess the Mexican gal made this stuff.
Ya pretty much is, except our taxes are way higher and our gun laws suck.
This way it will be easier to get Mexico to pay for the wall.
Refreshing to have an adult who knows that the “One size fits all...” meme is a recipe for huge waste.....others were too lazy to do the work to customize things.
