Press Secretary Sarah Sanders took on a number of questions from the White House press corps Tuesday afternoon about her credibility. Specifically, she was asked about a discrepancy surrounding a 2016 meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer at Trump Tower.
Last August, Sanders said on the record the President did not dictate a response to revelations about the meeting. However, a letter written by President Trump's legal team states he did in fact dictate the response onboard Air Force One last year, which was then given to the press.
"Why should we be able to trust the information we are getting from this administration is accurate? And more importantly, why should Americans be able to trust that what they hear from this White House is always the truth?" a reporter asked.
"I work every single day to give you accurate and up to date information and I'm going to continue to do that. Frankly, I think my credibility is higher than the media’s. I think in large part that’s because you guys spend most of your time focused on attacking the president instead of reporting the news. I think if you spent a little bit more time reporting the news instead of tearing me down, you might actually see we're working hard to provide you with good information and to provide that good information to the American people.”
Sanders also got into a heated back and forth with reporter April Ryan, who shouted a question out of turn and demanded to know if President Trump is aware NFL National Anthem protests are also about police brutality.
"I let you rudely interrupt me and your colleague, I would be happy to answer if you would stop talking long enough to let me do that," Sanders said.

Just for fun, she should start answering Different questions than those asked, such as:

Why should the White House deal with a dying media that refuses to treat them with basic manners much less impartiality and dignity?
The “Press Secretary” should focus on posting the official position of the president on the White House Web page where anyone can read them.
Provide an email form where people can ask questions that can then be selected to answer.
Whatever she gets paid for her services, it’s not enough.

The MSM has the “monarchy mentality”. They want to control everything, especially what “we’ think.
They think they have a “right” to know. That is not what the Constitution promised them.
And, oh she was right when she said they spend more time trying to discredit Trump and his Administration than actually reporting facts.
Such a good idea! That’s how Democrat candidates answer debate questions. If Sarah did that, it would be (3) informative, and (2) a hoot.

I agree with that! Mike Pence is a good man, but he may be too congeneal to take over for Trump. I like the fighter in him most of all, and Sarah Sanders is just as scrappy.
I’m with you. VP Pence is a wonderful man, but we need somebody willing to knock the tables over.
