The problem with that is that if he gets his immunity, when the time comes to testify he will pull a “...I don’t recall ... I don’t remember...” trick. Then he’ll walk and Congress will get nothing and not do anything about it.

#16. The terms of a good immunity agreement means that he CANNOT take the 5th, I don’t recall, etc. He would have to testify to every question with no hesitation or caveats (unless it would be something that had to be heard in Executive Session).

^^ This is exactly what will happen and there would be nothing the (R)'s could do about it. Just like hillary...only he would now have immunity against anything concrete.
