Levin’s concerns about Trump was not without a reasonable basis at the time. I think that it was not widely known that Trump must have had a Christian conversion at some point prior to his running for President. Trump has demonstrated by his words and deeds that he is a Christian. He is truly a changed man.
Nah, if you were following Trump you knew he was serious. He didn’t change one line of his platform from the day he announced. He literally presented the same ideas and principles from day one, at hundreds of events.
One day he made what most of us thought was a mistake addressing and issue, from a Conservative vantage point, and the next morning he admitted it and changed course.
I was leery of him in May of 2015, but I paid attention and within a few months it was clear he was the real deal.
Anyone not getting that by June of 2016, just want really willing to listen and give him credit.
Many of them were out there, and hurting our cause too.
You jumped on a populist bandwagon, and most of you behaved like a parcel of idiots in the process.
Keep telling yourself that, as this president proves to be one of the best we’ve had.
We tried to tell you. You refused to listen to him. You refused to listen to us. You dismissed us and belittled us.
You just got through telling me, “...and I’ve been completely astounded by his record since taking office.”
Funny thing is, I’m not. This is exactly what he said he’d do, and it’s exactly what I expected him to do. It’s exactly what I told folks like you he was going to do.
Instead of admitting you were wrong, you continue to dismiss me as, “...jumping on a populist bandwagon.”
Bud, you’ve been proven wrong at every step of this experience, and at some point you really should own up to it.
