Not unusual actually. The government is good at spending. Not so good at producing.
As another FReeper incitefully pointed out, The gov’t is VERY concerned with enforcing you coughing up your hard earned wages in taxation slavery, but not so concerned with how those hard earned bucks are wasted by them.
Quite the disparity in interest and enforcement.
