Thanks to gerrymandering by both parties, there are very few truly competitive seats.
The re-election rate of incumbents is something like 96%. Very few congresscritters actually get defeated.
Barring a major upset, I expect the House to remain GOP.
I’m explicitly talking about California and the fact that the Democrats haven’t lost a federal incumbent to a Republican in nearly a quarter-century. A state with 53 members is bound to have an incumbent defeated due to the sheer number of races, but the fact that it hasn’t is extraordinarily suspicious, especially given the number of Democrats sitting in Republican areas or marginal districts.
Nice...I wonder if the DU people are melting with the results...
Californians have to start documenting and exposing the voter fraud and demand investigation, prosecution, and prison time for those found guilty.
They’d have to go to the Feds with it. Look at the filthy dirty corrupt state AG. Becerra should be in prison along with most of the other statewide officials (Brown, et al).
Great news.
Tell that to Josh Newman.
Yet another brilliant comment from someone who's not in CA.
Get back to me when a republican is elected for governor along with a conservative legislature.
Lets just take your advice and say, "It's a lost cause", why bother, eff it. I bet you'd like that.☺
Brilliant.
Youre good at putting words in my mouth that werent there.
Let me get this straight, are you suggesting the motivation behind your comment was to encourage Republicans to vote in CA?
