President Trump on Thursday called for an investigation into allegations that the Obama administration tried to give Iran access to the U.S. financial system by sidestepping sanctions.
"The Obama Administration is now accused of trying to give Iran secret access to the financial system of the United States. This is totally illegal," Trump tweeted.

Read, at the end, what the mealymouthed Obama official said about the deal. HE literally admitted that it was to give Iran a handup in getting more money for terrorism by converting their weak money into US dollars.
That would violate the restrictions Treasury had placed on such deals. According to the Obama official, it was just a plain nicey-nice helping hand to Iran.
