Parents are damaging these young ladies.

There, truth spoken. The parents of these children are damaging their daughters. They are teaching their daughters that competing physically against boys with long hair is "normal". They are reinforcing the notion that competing is pointless because the deck will always be unfairly stacked against them. Immeasurable harm is being visited on their psyche.

To the daughters, I apologize that my generation of parents has allowed this to happen. To the parents of these young women, shame on you for not lighting a fire under school administration to get this fixed. And to the parents of the little boys who like to play dress up with long hair and beat women unfairly in physical competitions ... there is no amount of shame I could wish upon you that you would feel ... you are too far gone.
