A proposed increase for people using federal housing subsidies will most affect
single mothers and their children, putting them at risk for homelessness, increasing their risk for domestic violence.
Maybe we should start making the baby-daddys start chipping in?

You hit one of my hot button issues with that comment. I am beyond tired of paying for everyone else foibles. Here illegally, cannot speak language or hold a job, no problema, here is a subsidy; Have kids, not married, no problema, here are some bennies, some money and help for you on someone elses dime. Quit school before graduating, now spend day taking or dealing drugs to sustain your habit, no problema, we have some bennies, some treatment centers and some money to see you through all on some stiffs back. Being a member of the taker class has now completely over come the producer class and I am tired of being the dupe who did all the “right’ things in life and an sentenced to underwriting a ton of bad decisions because one particular group, the DC scum bags want more votes to stay in power by doling out largess.

If less resources were devoted to subsidizing single moms, perhaps fewer women would decide to become single moms.
