I want y’all to spend the entire day beating the hell out of me for DARING, daring I tell you, to have a different opinion than FreeRepublic.

Keep sending me Freepmail, keep doing it.

I ain’t backing down.

I think it was a silly thing.

Bear in mind that this case is not over yet BUT the Baker DID WIN!

He was NOT forced to bake the cake.

Which is fine by me because that couple could very easily have just gone to another Baker.

On their part it was just as silly and small.

All over a damn cake.

But keep beating me up.....don’t stop. How dare my opinion differ from yours!

You’re conflating you having an opinion with others attacking you.

That’s not it AT ALL.

People just disagree with you, which doesn’t mean they hate you.

Are you actually equating my remarks of disagreement with an attack?

That’s way too emotional for me.

Sorry I chose not to agree.

Just a point of clarification.

The baker in question was NOT a baker like any other baker down the street. This guy was more of an artist. He makes specialty cakes that are more art than not. Think the difference betwween buying mass produced, particleboard furniture vs a hand crafted piece of oak furniture.

His customers cannot just go down the street and buy another cake like this.

That said, his cakes are a first amendment expression. He crafts what he crafts—not unlike any other artist. Therefore, his freedoms of expression and religion are protected much more than any cake bought in a grocery store dbakery.

It might seem like a small point of clarification. In my mind it makes a huge difference in the application of the law.

I had a nasty mother in law that didn’t like me. When I was marrying her daughter told my soon to be wife who relayed it to me that she will take care of the Wedding cake.

The wedding cake never arrived. We never knew until it was time to roll the cake out. The next day she said she went down to the baker and had a few words and got the top tier of the cake for us to freeze.

To this day I believe she sabotaged the cake delivery.

That’s what the baker should have done — knowing this was a contrived grievance. Just say yes, then ‘forget’ to make it.

FISH - this is the part that is at issue - the Queers are happy to bankrupt people who do not do their bidding. Some would say, I would say, they, these TWO Queers are no diff. than the Nazis during Cristal Nacht

One last item to put this situation into a bit of a personal perspective

A while back you had a dispute with your new neighbors about you property survey. You had an Old one and the neighbor had a new one.

The local G'ment got involved and you had issues to deal with.

So now was the claim by your neighbors On their part it was just as silly and small.

You were wrong for once. I wouldn’t attack you for that.

My respect for you is undiminished but you should recognize that this whole thing is an example of ideological propaganda, it was a battle in the War for the American Mind.
